Agent Jack’s by Brewer Street is another addition to already buzzing Sector 29, Gurgaon. The place has a different and a unique concept. It is the first ever bidding bar of North Delhi. They have launched their Mobile App, compatible with all OS, which patrons can download and bid for their drinks. Patrons can choose a drink of their choice, quote a price they wish to pay and send it across. If the bar thinks that offered price is good enough, and bid is accepted, then patrons get the drink at quoted price. More the number of users online, bidding for the same drink, more fun the drinking game becomes.
The place has a decent ambiance nothing special or out of the box, yet good enough. They covered up the uniqueness part with their concept. Place offers both indoor and outdoor seating area.
Since, the whole concept of this restaurant is around drinks, one can expect a lot of variety. They have all the traditional drinks, with lots of new cocktails and alcohol combinations to offer. This is one place where alcohol lovers can experiment with their drinks, that too on their own prices, if lucky.
About their food menu, there is not much of options, yet there is a lot of variety. Their menu though limited, has covered lot of different cuisines, styles and taste. We had Achari Paneer Tikka, Chilly Cheese Dynamite (Chilli Pakoras with cheese filling served in Explosive Box), Almond Aloo Tikka (tikki stuffed in pita bread), Karari roti and Paan Patta Chaat. All the dishes had a unique twist and great flavors, but fell a little short of the wow factor. However, we have nothing to complain about their taste.
For main course we had options to choose from various cuisines. We got so confused on what to pick, that we ordered Giant Burger and Vegetables Mozzarella Pizza instead. As the name says, the burger was Huge. As for Pizza, it was not your regular round pizza, but one in the shape of leaf, with pieces cut in triangles and squares. We loved both burger and Pizza.
Our meal is never complete without dessert, so we went for Green Apple Jalebi and Fried Banana Fritters. The jalebi was actually coated around a slice of green apple, served with raberi and ice cream. Fried Banna Fitters were again served with vanilla ice cream. In short, something different and good to have.
We visited the place on weekend and as expected the place was packed. However, we did not see any delays in service. They maintained great service all through our meal.
