Chilli Paneer Gravy

With the idea of having something spicy and different I chose to try my hands on the Chinese Chilli Paneer. I have been a fan of this dish in the various restaurants – be it dry as an appetizer or with gravy.

The love for cottage cheese being vegetarian enables me to try the different paneer dishes to have variety and flavours. Thus, I got this quick and easy recipe for satisfying your Chinese cravings.

  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 200 Gms Paneer Cubes
  • 1 Big onion Diced
  • 1 Capsicum Diced
  • 1 Carrot Diced
  • 2 Tbsp Chilli Paneer Masala Chings
  • 1 Green Chilli Slit into 2


  1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan and saute paneer cubes and keep aside.

  2.  In the same pan, sauté vegetables and green chilli

  3. Now add the Chilli paneer masala to the veggies

  4. Mix water and paneer pieces

  5. Bring to boil and reduce the flame for 3-4 minutes.

  6. Serve hot with fried rice or noodles
