7 minutes Microwave Khaman Dhokla

Feeling hungry to make a quick snack while working between the meals? Try this 7 minute Khaman Dhokla which will make you feel refreshed and will fill up your tummy along with satisfying your taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Besan
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Semolina (Suji)
  • 1 pinch Haldi powder
  • 1 pinch Hing
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp Eno

For tempering:

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/3 cups water
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 6-7 curry patta
  • 3-4 green chilies (sliced)
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method:

  1. Mix the batter ingredients except Eno to make a thick flowing paste. Add Eno and mix well. Pour in a microwave safe dish and microwave it for 2 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the tempering by heating oil, adding mustard seeds, Curry Patta, and green chilies to it. Mix sugar, lemon juice and water separately. Add this water mixture to the oil and pour on the Dhoklas.
  3. Serve with mint dip.
